Please join Skidmore Alumni, Parents, and Friends at the Harris Theater at Millennium Park for a performance by Thodos Dance Chicago (TDC), produced by Skidmore Alum, Melissa Thodos '84.
Melissa, TDC Founder and Artistic Director once again collaborates with Tony Award-winning Broadway Star, Ann Reinking, to present the premiere of “A Light in the Dark," a one act story ballet about Helen Keller and Anne Sullivan, featuring an original score by Bruce Wolosoff. Also featured will be a new work from renowned California choreographer KT Nelson titled "rest is not always possible", an exciting new piece from Melissa Thodos titled "Subtle Passages", plus a stunning work by choreographer Brian Enos titled "Lullaby" which premiered in 2012 at the acclaimed New Dances choreography performance series.
Immediately following the performance, The Harris Theater will host a Champagne and Wine reception with a chance to meet and mingle with Melissa Thodos '84, the dancers, and other friends of Skidmore. We have purchased a limited amount of tickets, so respond today!
